But I think all three go hand in hand - it’s incredibly hard to have good academics without getting enough sleep, and having a social life provides the stress relief and interaction necessary for good marks. That being said, I think a lot of people need to prioritise both physical activity and their social lives, even through all their commitments. It’s all about balance. But I don’t think a social life and good academics/extracurriculars are mutually exclusive. I spent a good amount of time talking with my teachers about various concepts and asking questions, ranging from a tough maths problem or edits for one of my essays, to potential enrichment and summer programs I could try out. And group revision was something that was highly recommended to me that can also improve your social life (but I didn’t really capitalise on because studying alone works best for me).
